The Symposium programme has plenty to keep participants stimulated from dawn until dusk – worldwide experts at plenary and concurrent sessions, a large selection of posters, a marketplace to get the latest in health systems research information and meet potential partners, and many networking and social opportunities!

The Symposium begins the evening of 31 October 2012 with a plenary session followed by a welcome reception. An official opening plenary, including a keynote address by the Minister of Health, China, will take place the morning of 1 November. There is a thematic plenary session each day, followed by concurrent sessions on the Symposium’s three main themes – state-of-the-art research, measures and methods, and knowledge translation – as well as rooms dedicated to films, health systems and health systems research issues in China, skill-building workshops and alternative/interactive session types.

All plenary sessions (video and presentations) now available on demand.

Tweeting: @WHO provided full coverage of the Symposium using the hashtag #HSRsymposium – continue the conversation!
